Actor Hong Min-ki Denies Ex-Girlfriend's Violence Claims, Vows Strong Civil and Criminal Legal Response

Actor Hong Min-ki's agency, Fable Company, has strongly denied allegations of dating violence raised by his ex-girlfriend, influencer A, announcing that it will pursue comprehensive civil and criminal legal action for stalking and defamation. The controversy escalated after A shared a certified letter on social media accusing the actor of physical assault—including throwing a soju bottle and grabbing her neck—as well as illegal phone monitoring, animal abuse, and deceiving fans.

According to Fable Company, the accusations are sensational distortions designed to damage the actor's public standing. The agency stated that Hong ended the short-lived relationship after discovering A was in continuous contact with her ex-boyfriend, an infraction she reportedly admitted to and apologized for in writing. Following the breakup, Hong made it clear that he would not reconcile, which the agency claims triggered persistent, unilateral harassment from A.

The agency further alleged that A engaged in stalking behavior, repeatedly visiting Hong's home and family residence. Security footage reportedly captured A outside Hong's residence from 1 AM to 4 AM, actively tampering with the door camera and kicking the entrance. Fable Company also revealed that A threatened to ruin Hong's career with lawsuits regardless of the truth, leading the agency to take firm legal measures to hold A accountable for false accusations and defamation.
