CRAVITY’s Woobin Takes on Dual Lead Roles in Hit Romantic Comedy Musical ‘Caffeine’

CRAVITY’s main vocalist Woobin is set to demonstrate his growing theatrical talents by taking on a challenging dual lead role in the classic romantic comedy musical Caffeine.

Opening on August 20 at The Good Theater in Daehak-ro, Caffeine marks Woobin’s second musical venture following his successful theatrical debut in Romeo and Juliet earlier this year. In this new production, Woobin will portray both male leads, Jimin and Jeongmin—two contrasting personas that will allow him to showcase a dynamic spectrum of vocal strength and emotional depth.

Caffeine revolves around the sweet, chaotic romance between barista Sejin and sommelier Jimin as they navigate love and ambition while sharing the same café space. Since its premiere in 2008, the show has remained a beloved staple of Daehak-ro's theater scene, earning international acclaim and selling out runs in Japan.

Having earned praise for his vocal stability and stage immersion during his run as Romeo from March to May, Woobin shared his enthusiasm for this new artistic challenge:

"I am happy and excited to greet everyone again through a musical so soon after 'Romeo and Juliet' earlier this year. I worked hard to prepare so I could show an even better side of myself based on my previous experience. Audiences will be able to feel a completely different charm and energy compared to 'Romeo.' I hope LUVITY will look forward to it and show lots of support."

The musical Caffeine will run at The Good Theater in Daehak-ro through October 25, 2026.
