Hwang Jung-eum Playfully Laments Her "Round Face," Comparing Herself to Her Son in Sun-Kissed Vacation Photos

Singer-turned-actress Hwang Jung-eum recently delighted fans with a humorous and relatable update, showing off a healthy, sun-kissed glow from her recent travels.

On the 15th, the star took to her personal social media channel to share several snapshots from her trip. Embracing a completely natural look, she sported a casual white t-shirt, shorts, and glasses, with her hair tied back in a loose, effortless style.

What caught fans' attention the most, however, was her deeply tanned skin and slightly fuller face—a look she playfully poked fun at herself.

"Wang-sik’s Face Came Out"

Noticing her own sun-drenched, rounder appearance, Hwang couldn't help but compare herself to her eldest son, Wang-sik. She shared the photos alongside the witty caption, "My round-faced Wang-sik is out."

Clearly amused but slightly flustered by the resemblance and her holiday weight, she jokingly added, "What should I do?" Her self-deprecating humor elicited a warm response and plenty of laughter from her followers, who praised her for looking significantly healthier and more vibrant than before. The deep tan, acquired from braving the sweltering heat during her getaway, only added to her radiant, carefree vacation vibe.

Life as a Single Mother and YouTube Creator

Beyond her recent vacation updates, Hwang has been openly sharing her day-to-day life with fans. Following her marriage to a non-celebrity one year her junior in 2016, the actress went through a divorce last May.

Currently, she is navigating life as a single mother, raising her two sons on her own. Fans have been able to keep up with her journey through her personal YouTube channel, where she frequently posts vlogs and life updates, maintaining a strong and honest connection with her audience.
