Yang Ji-won Announces Marriage to Actor Yang Jun-mo and Reveals Pregnancy

Actor Yang Jun-mo (46) and actress-singer Yang Ji-won (38) have announced that they are tying the knot, sharing the double blessing of a wedding and an upcoming child.

On August 24, Yang Ji-won took to social media to share the joyous news alongside wedding photos featuring the couple. In her heartfelt post, the former Spica member revealed that she is expecting and preparing to embrace motherhood.

"Starting a family has long been one of the biggest wishes in my heart, and finally, God has allowed me to have a family with the person I love," Yang wrote. "We originally planned to get married early next year, but thankfully, a new life has been given to us, so I will become a mother next year at the age of forty. That is why we are holding the ceremony a little earlier."

Reflecting on her bond with Yang Jun-mo, she shared deep affection for her partner: "In some ways, the two of us are very different, and in other ways, we have a lot in common. He allows me to see parts of myself that I couldn't see before, and as I love him, I am taking another step toward becoming an adult." She added, "Although the huge changes in my life that came all at once are still a bit overwhelming, I intend to learn them one by one and adapt well with a grateful heart. Please bless our new beginning at the tail end of a sweltering midsummer."

Earlier that day, Yang Jun-mo had also shared news of his remarriage while candidly disclosing that his previous marriage had concluded in 2023.

"There was a grateful and beloved person who helped me find my smile again," Yang Jun-mo stated. "I am now going to become one family with that person and start a new life." While he initially kept the identity of his partner private, the couple was revealed when Yang Ji-won shared their wedding pictorial shortly after.

Yang Jun-mo previously married a composer in 2009, with whom he shares a daughter, before parting ways in 2023. Yang Ji-won debuted in the music industry in 2012 as a member of the vocal girl group Spica. She later transitioned into acting, building her filmography with roles in television dramas such as Divorce Lawyer in Love, The Witch's Game, and The Family.
