Ayaka Miyoshi Reveals Facial Paralysis Diagnosis Behind ‘Tazza 4’ Absence

Japanese actress Ayaka Miyoshi has opened up about the health issue that forced her to temporarily step away from her activities, revealing that she was diagnosed with facial paralysis about a month ago.

Miyoshi recently attended the VIP premiere of Tazza: The Song of Beelzebub, also known as Tazza 4, ahead of the film’s release. Her appearance came after she had been absent from the movie’s production press conference last month due to health reasons.

Following the premiere, Miyoshi addressed concerns from fans through social media. She thanked those who attended the VIP premiere and the media members who captured photos and videos of the event.

She explained that she had previously stopped her activities after being diagnosed with facial paralysis.

“I was diagnosed with facial paralysis about a month ago and had to take a break from activities for a while,” Miyoshi said, adding that the sudden diagnosis was also surprising for her.

The actress reassured fans that she is currently recovering well and expressed gratitude toward the people around her who supported her during the difficult period. She also thanked fans for their warm messages and encouragement.

Miyoshi noted that she has not yet fully recovered, but said she was happy to be back in front of audiences and able to resume her activities.

She also reassured fans that she is doing well and taking care of both her physical and mental health, asking them to continue supporting her upcoming activities and Tazza: The Song of Beelzebub.

Ayaka Miyoshi Returns for ‘Tazza 4’ Promotions

Miyoshi is scheduled to participate in promotional activities for Tazza 4, beginning with pre-release stage greetings on September 19 and 20. She will also take part in opening-week stage greetings on September 23 and September 25–27.

Her promotional schedule is expected to continue during the film’s second and third weeks of release, including October 3–5 and October 9–11.

Tazza: The Song of Beelzebub is the final installment in the popular Tazza film series. The crime drama follows Jang Tae-young, played by Byun Yo-han, who believes he has gained everything through an online casino business, and his former friend Park Tae-young, played by No Jae-won, who takes everything away from him.

The two men eventually reunite in the global gambling world as their conflict develops into a story of revenge.

Ayaka Miyoshi plays Kaneko, a headquarters manager at a Japanese corporation backed by a Yakuza organization.
