Baek Jin-hee Confirms January Wedding, Clarifies Groom Rumors

Actress Baek Jin-hee has addressed speculation surrounding her upcoming marriage, clarifying that the Korean man featured in a previous video from Canada is not her future husband.

The clarification came after online rumors identified the man seen with Baek Jin-hee in a North American lifestyle video as her fiancé, Henry. On September 8, the YouTube channel “Genie Is Back” reportedly explained that the Korean man appearing in the video was simply an acquaintance and had no connection to Baek Jin-hee’s future marriage.

The production team stated that the person shown in the Toronto footage was a close acquaintance and not Baek Jin-hee’s future spouse, putting an end to the speculation.

Baek Jin-hee Announces January 2027 Wedding

Baek Jin-hee’s agency, Management AM9, previously confirmed that the actress will marry on January 23, 2027.

According to the agency, her future husband is a non-celebrity who works locally in Canada. Baek Jin-hee also personally shared the marriage news, expressing her happiness about entering a new chapter in her life.

“I am sharing this news myself. I am finally getting married,” she said.

Actress Addresses Speculation About Her Fiancé

Along with confirming her wedding plans, Baek Jin-hee has reportedly pushed back against assumptions about her fiancé’s financial background.

She described him as an ordinary office worker rather than a wealthy businessman, emphasizing his simple lifestyle. The couple have also maintained a long-distance relationship between South Korea and Canada, making frequent travel to see each other despite the significant distance.

Baek Jin-hee explained that the relationship was not always easy because they could not meet whenever they wanted. However, the couple continued their relationship while managing the challenges of living in different countries.

Fiancé Has Been a Source of Support

Baek Jin-hee also expressed affection for her future husband, describing him as someone who has provided emotional support throughout her career.

She said he helps her regain her composure when she is emotionally struggling and gives her warm comfort when she needs it most.

Because her fiancé is not a public figure, Baek Jin-hee has asked people to avoid excessive speculation about his identity, career and personal life.

The actress reportedly emphasized that she does not want unnecessary attention to cause any disadvantage or emotional harm to the person who will become her life partner.

Baek Jin-hee is expected to continue her acting career and personal content activities after marriage, balancing her professional life with her new chapter as a married woman.
