Former DIA member turned actress Ki Hee-hyun has shared grounded, reassuring advice for fans feeling pressured about marriage, while also offering a peek into her everyday life with boyfriend Lee Sang-yoon.
During an interactive Q&A session on her social media, Ki addressed a follower in their 30s who expressed anxiety watching peers tie the knot. Offering a calm, mature perspective, Ki encouraged the fan not to let societal milestones dictate their happiness.
"Essentially, marriage is about meeting a good person to be happy together," Ki wrote. "If you meet someone good enough to want to marry, it is something to celebrate. But if you haven’t met such a person yet, what reason is there to rush? Don’t be impatient. You must be wary of your vision becoming clouded. If you become a good person, you will attract a good person, and when your hearts align, marriage won't feel so difficult."
Alongside her advice, Ki engaged fans asking for updates on her relationship. Responding playfully with, "Is it okay if I'm drenched in sweat?", she posted a candid mirror selfie of the couple in workout attire following a late-night gym session.
Ki publicly confirmed her relationship with model Lee Sang-yoon in June after sharing footage of a trip together in Osaka, Japan. Since going public, she has periodically shared lighthearted anecdotes about their dynamic—including a recent post praising Lee's domestic skills, noting he frequently spends entire days off managing household tasks and researching practical home appliances.
Ki debuted as the leader of girl group DIA in 2015, gained wider recognition on Mnet’s Produce 101, and has since transitioned into acting and content creation. Lee Sang-yoon is a model who recently gained public attention on Channel A’s romance reality series Heart Pairing.
