Shin Se-kyung Reportedly Buys Luxury Villa in Gangnam

Actress Shin Se-kyung has reportedly purchased a home at L’ARBRE 27, one of Seoul’s upcoming ultra-luxury residential complexes in Samseong-dong, Gangnam.

According to a report published by TenAsia on September 10, Shin Se-kyung has bought a unit in the exclusive development and is reportedly preparing to move in next year. The exact unit she purchased, however, has not been revealed.
L’ARBRE 27 is being built in Samseong-dong, an area known for some of Seoul’s most expensive real estate. The project is being constructed by Hyundai E&C and will feature just 27 residential units across two buildings, making it a particularly exclusive development.

The reported prices are also drawing attention. According to industry sources, the super penthouse units were offered at prices of around 40 billion won. A sixth-floor Terrace House reportedly sold for approximately 19.5 billion won. Garden House units were said to start at around 26 billion won, while Terrace House prices reportedly began in the 14 billion won range.

It has not been confirmed how much Shin Se-kyung paid for her unit.
The property is located close to Cheongdam-dong and several well-known Gangnam landmarks, including COEX, Bongeunsa Temple and the Han River. The Samseong Station area is also undergoing major development, including the large-scale underground project planned around Yeongdong-daero.

Meanwhile, Shin Se-kyung has had a successful year professionally as well. She recently appeared in director Ryoo Seung-wan’s film Humint, where she played Chae Seon-hwa, a waitress working at a North Korean restaurant.
Her performance earned her the Best Supporting Actress award in the film category at the 62nd Baeksang Arts Awards in May.

While details of her new home remain private, the reported purchase has attracted attention because of the development’s extremely high property prices and exclusive location in Gangnam.
