So Ah-rin Joins TVING’s ‘I Can Be Nervous’ as Talented Dancer

Actress So Ah-rin is set to showcase a fresh side of herself in the upcoming TVING original series I Can Be Nervous.

So Ah-rin has been confirmed to play Kang Si-eun, a member of a dance crew who stands out for both her impressive dancing skills and striking appearance.

I Can Be Nervous is a chaotic coming-of-age romantic comedy centered on Gong Yeon-soo, played by Nam Ji-hyun, a woman who seems to do everything except love, and Dokgo Dal, played by Kim Jae-young, a capable man who also struggles when it comes to love.

In the drama, Kang Si-eun is portrayed as someone with a strong passion for her dreams. She is confident in her abilities and has exceptional dance skills, while her refreshing visuals add to her appeal.

So Ah-rin is expected to bring a lively energy to the series through her confident yet charming personality. Her natural freshness and youthful appeal are also expected to help establish Kang Si-eun as a memorable character.

Since making her acting debut in the 2019 film Cheer Up, Mr. Lee, So Ah-rin has steadily expanded her filmography through projects including Racket Boys, Melancholia, Grid, The King of Pigs, Doctor Cha, Wise Doctors, and It Will Come True.

She particularly drew attention for her appearance in Doctor Cha, where she played an entrance-exam student. At the time, the role was especially meaningful as So Ah-rin was also preparing for entrance exams herself.

Through a variety of roles, the actress has demonstrated her ability to portray different emotions with subtlety and depth. Her casting in I Can Be Nervous is therefore raising curiosity about another transformation in her acting career.

With her fresh image, expressive acting and versatile charm, So Ah-rin is expected to add another layer of youthful energy to the upcoming series.

TVING’s original series I Can Be Nervous, starring So Ah-rin alongside Nam Ji-hyun and Kim Jae-young, is scheduled to premiere on October 15.
